My close friend loves to crochet and can do just about anything. I recently asked her to make this Color Sorting Toy for my boys because Sawyer is all about learning his colors right now and adding the sorting to his learning process is perfect! This toy goes for $20 shipped on Etsy so this is a steal! She's so sweet to do this for my friends and I at this price and I love helping personal home businesses!
This is a timeless toy- one that can be kept in the family and passed down through generations. It would also make a precious Easter gift, Birthday gift, etc. for any little toddler! Your child can learn to sort his colors but also nest and stack! As he learns you can graduate to sorting the bowls from largest to smallest and so on. If you're looking for Montessori type toys this is the one for you!A lot of mama's were concerned about allergens- I am thrilled to announce Cindy has changed the filling of the balls to glass! This is so great and add's some substance/weight to the crocheted balls!
Please note: the balls are a choking hazard with or without the marble/glass filling. Anything of this size is a choking hazard for unsupervised children. Please keep them up on a shelf and only bring the balls down when you plan on sitting with your children to sort the colors and learn. You can certainly leave the nesting bowls down for them to access when they'd like. Your child can nest the bowls, stack them and point to the different colors.
