Erin Condren: My DIY Planner + $10 OFF

As most of you know I am just in love with Erin Condren and her Life  Planners! The Erin Condren Life Planner is the hottest planner on the market right now!

Before I purchased my Life Planner I went to every single office supply store searching for a more affordable comparable planner. I purchased a Martha Stewart system and after using it for about 3 days I realized it wasn't for me so I bit the bullet and got an Erin Condren! NOTHING COMPARES!There weren't any amazing coupon codes or discounts back when I purchased my planner. So I bought a second hand one from a women who was selling hers (she had only written in October's month so I didn't mind). Unfortunately, it's purple (my worst favorite color) and it has HER name on the front! (I just had to save a buck, right?!)

Lucky for me I love to craft and quickly started working on my cover...

Supplies: Washi Tape, SN@P! pocket page, 2 SN@P! 3x4 Cards, 4x6 Personal Photo, Terrifically Taffy Tape

Come, take a peak inside ... !!

Monthly View- I use the 'notes' section of my monthly view for financial goals and purchases (things that I need to remember to add into our budget). I use each day to pencil in any and all appointments we have, making sure to include a brief description and the time! I try to be very vague on my monthly view . I use this page as a quick reference when I'm on the phone making a doctor's appointment or trying to see when my husband works, etc.
Weekly View- I get to be really detailed on my weekly view pages! I go into detail about the appointments we have. For example: Say we have a doctor's appointment... I will write in any questions we may have for the doctor/ things that need to be addressed etc. I always make myself a 'To Do' list for each day; I take the tasks from my Master To Do list. I use the lines at the bottom of each day for Meal Planning space; I write what we're going to have for dinner on a daily basis. Any groceries I may need to get for those dinner's I'll write in the 'notes' section of the weekly view on the left hand side.

I use my pouch for very important things I want to carry with me; coupons, checkbook register, receipts, etc

Supplies- This is what I throw into my purse before ever leaving home (along with my Erin Condren Life Planner of course!) Most used tool: White Out Tape!
I used Washi Tape to cover up the title, "Birthday's And Anniversaries." I now use this section as my monthly bill tracker. I use the pre-printed numbers as due dates!
Master Meal Planning List- I use this every week when I write my dinner down on my weekly spread!

As much fun as I had DIY'ing my cover I can't wait for next year when I can customize my own through the Erin Condren website and have it personalized with my name!

  1. What exactly did you do with the Sn@p pocket pages? I'm trying to see. I'd like some kind of way to create a pocket on the inside cover of my planner.

  2. I used (1) Pocket Page on the front of my planner cover! I taped it down with tacky tape after I washi'ed the cover. The pocket page is what's holding my two 3x4 cards and one 4x6 photo :)
